Privacy Policy

Last updated: July 9, 2026

This policy explains what data Fitzpoint collects from coaches and clients, why, and the choices you have.

1. Overview

Fitzpoint ("we", "us", "our") operates the Fitzpoint coaching platform, including the web dashboard and the client mobile app. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and share information when a coach or client uses Fitzpoint.

By creating a Fitzpoint account, you agree to the collection and use of information as described in this policy. If you're the client of a coach using Fitzpoint, it's your coach's responsibility to invite you and configure what they share with you — see the "Client & Coach Data" section below.

2. Information We Collect

We collect information you provide directly, information generated as you use the platform, and information from third-party services you choose to connect.

Account & profile data
Name, email, phone number, profile photo, coaching business details, and authentication information.
Client health & fitness data
Workouts, body weight, measurements, progress photos, nutrition logs, and check-in responses entered on the platform.
Payment information
Billing information processed by our payment provider, Paddle. Fitzpoint never stores full card numbers on its own servers.
Device & usage data
IP address, browser type, device identifiers, and in-app activity such as pages viewed and features used.
Wearable & health app data
Steps, sleep, and heart-rate data you choose to sync from Apple Health or Google Fit.
Communications
Messages, voice notes, and files exchanged between coaches and clients within Fitzpoint, as well as messages you send to our support team.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Provide, operate, and maintain the Fitzpoint platform
  • Sync programs, nutrition plans, check-ins, and messages between a coach and their clients
  • Process subscription payments and manage billing
  • Send service notifications, check-in reminders, and, where permitted, product updates
  • Monitor performance, keep the platform secure, and prevent abuse or fraud
  • Improve existing features and build new ones based on aggregate usage trends

4. Client & Coach Data

Fitzpoint is built around the coach-client relationship. When a coach invites a client, that client's training, nutrition, and progress data becomes visible to the coach so they can provide coaching. Coaches are responsible for having a legal basis to collect and process their clients' data, and for being the first point of contact for their clients' privacy requests.

Fitzpoint acts as a data processor for the health and fitness data coaches and clients enter into the platform, and as a data controller for account, billing, and platform usage data.

5. Sharing & Disclosure

We don't sell your personal data. We only share information in the following cases:

  • With service providers that host our infrastructure, process payments (Paddle), send transactional email, and provide customer support tools
  • Between a coach and their own clients, as the product intends
  • When required by law, regulation, legal process, or a formal request
  • In connection with a merger, acquisition, or asset sale, with notice to affected users

6. Data Retention

We retain account and coaching data for as long as the account remains active. If a coach closes their Fitzpoint account, the client data tied to that account is retained for up to 90 days to allow for export, then deleted, unless a longer period is legally required.

7. Your Rights & Choices

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you
  • Correct inaccurate or incomplete data
  • Request deletion of your data, subject to legal and contractual retention requirements
  • Export your data in a portable format
  • Object to or restrict certain processing, including marketing communications

To exercise any of these rights, contact us — see the "Contact Us" section below. If you're a client, you can also direct these requests to your coach.

8. Security

We use encryption in transit and at rest, access controls, and regular reviews of our infrastructure to protect your data. No system is completely secure, so we recommend using strong, unique passwords and enabling any available account protections.

9. Children's Privacy

Fitzpoint is not directed at children under 16. Coaches must not invite clients under this age without obtaining consent required by applicable law, and must not enter a minor's data into the platform without a legal basis.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We'll update the "last updated" date above and notify account holders by email or in-app notice for material changes.
